Screensaver

My screensaver has suddenly stopped working. I can activate it only by
right-clicking properties, and previewing. How can I correct this problem?
 
Hi,

The fact that you can preview it tells you that nothing is actually wrong
with the screensaver function. So, it leaves us with the obvious conclusion
that something recently installed, changed, or updated on the system is
interfering with it activating. Look to what is running in the background
using ctrl+shift+escape and concentrate on the processes tab.
