I have several digital photos (jpeg) that I would like to
utilize as a screensaver. In XP there is an option to view
your My Photos contents as a slide show screen saver. Is
there a way to do that with Windows 2000?

You can do it as an anigif. There several programs that will create these,
but you need to be concerned with the size of the files with respect to the
size of eac image. They should be not larger than 72k in file size per
photo, and you can keep the the *.gif's size down.

Thanks for the info, the *.gif distorts the color quality
too much. I guess I'll have to find a plan B.
