screensaver won't stay on

Just started having this problem it will go on to the screensaver in the
right amount of time but it won't stay on. After a min or two the desktop is
back. Any idea how to fix?

Another consideration is that perhaps you have some task running in the background
which prevents the screensaver from staying on.
