Screen saver won't come on

Hi I am trying to fix my screensaver, It was working fine and now it won't
come on. I did not install anything new it just stopped one day. I can
preview in under the screensaver tab where you can change it and set the time
for it to come on but I can't get it to work anyone have any suggestion on
how I can fix this or where I can look to try to fix it. Thanks for you time

Check task manager to see if something is running in the background. Try
shutting down any virus detect programs.
 
No this did not help nothing runing in background any other suggestions
