Screensaver problem

Hi,

I am using Windows XP with all the updates and patches available.

For some reason, my screensaver has stopped kicking in as it always used to.
If the go into "properties" "screensaver" you can switch it on via the test
option but it doesn't switch on itself after the set time.

Could anyone help me to reactivate it.
