Screensaver / Power Down Not working

I've tried regedit on these issues.
My screensaver won't activate at set time nor will monitor shut off at set
time. PLEASE HELP if you can .

Have you downloaded/installed the latest XP compliant drivers for your video
card?

What was the original problem and what did you change in the Registry?
Alterations to those options shouldn't be done via the Registry, but via
Control Panel.

Hi

Those kinds of 'edits' are normally done via Control Panel and not the
Registry. Try a System Restore back to a point before you edited the
Registry.
