screen totally blank

hi, friends,
I'm a new user.....so interesting about coumputers.....I'v
problem right now...the problem is: after installing the new ram (
512MB), the screen went black... it didn't display anything ... eve
one word or one line the screen didn't show....how come? Can anyon
help me? Thanks....

The wrong RAM or not properly installed??? If you PC is a Dell or Gateway,
it may take proprietary RAM. RAM purchased at Circuit City or Best Buy may
not work. Check with the manufacturer of your PC.
