I am running Windows-EP Home Edition with Serv. Pack-2 installed. In most
cases, when I go to a site and click on any link, the link will open and does
not go full screen! This just started recently without any re-configuration
of our computer settings ! Help. Also, how do I configure my cordless
Logitech mouse to work on one click instead of double click ?

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:

1. Open IE, right click open a new window on any link, close the first one
you opened, go to the second one, grab the lower right and drag it all the
way, drag the upper left all the way to resize it... Do not use Maximize or
the likes - drag it. Then close IE using the X in the upper right hand
corner. Now, you'll have to do that again someday when some silly webmaster
decides to resize your browser for you again. IE and OE and many other such
things all remember the last size they were when they were opened. So, close
the big one last is my advice.

2. Follow this:

Press Start
Press Run
Type "control folders" without the quotes
Hit enter
On that tab there tick single click open an item
Click Okay

Galen, thank you very much for your help. I need allot of help with the
various programs I'm trying to use, especiall burning music files and
learning how to set my various folder to open with different progrand. My
music file is now opening with NERO however, I want it to open with Media
Player and don't know how to make the change !

Open Windows Media Player, go to "Tools" -> "Options", click on the "File
Types" tab and slect all the file types that you want WMP to be the default
player for.

Post any other issues seperatly so you can get better help.

Thank you very much for the answer, I cannot understand whe this question of
single click open is not addressed in Microsofts help index.

David, thank you for your answer, perhaps I was using the incorrect words in
my previous search. Now, all of a sudden when I click on the maximize block
next to the X in the top right corner of a document it does not reduce in
size ! could someone help me with this problem as well. Thanks, Jack

All programs, one program? Are you sure the normal size isn't the same as the screen size. Right click taskbar button - what happens on this menu re greyed out or available before and after you click. Does the menu work.
