When you open Remote Desktop Connection, click Options and then the Display
tab. Make sure that the slider is all the way to the right. When you
connect, if it still is not taking up the full screen, double click on the
top blue border of the window and it should maximize to encompass your full
screen. If you need to minimize it from there just move your mouse to the
top of the screen and a bar will appear giving you the option to do so.
