screen shot

Can anyone tell me how to capture a picture of the login
window? I am creating a document on VPN connection and
need to add this screenshot to my document but can't find
a way to capture it. I was told by MS to use print screen
but this does not work as windows (or at least the
desktop apps)have not started yet. When I tried using
this (print screen) after the desktop starts there is
nothing on the clipboard to paste into the document. I
have seen this picture in MS documentations but don't
know how to do it myself. Any help would be appreiciated,
thx.

Hello!

Usually it's Alt-PrtScrn that will put the current active dialog into the
clipboard for pasting. If I'm understanding what you're looking for, at the
very least you should be able to get a screen shot of the VPN login in a
window, though I'm not sure you'll get it full screen.

Hope that helps!

That doesn't seem to work either. I am trying to get a
screen shot of the first network login screen and then
paste it into a word doc. I would like to show users a
selected checkbox "connect using dial up", then they will
select VPN from the dial up connection list. Doing this
will enable a login script to run. BUT,,,,, due to the
desktop not having started (at the time of the login
window),, the clipboard does not record any information??

Maybe you can find the document you've seen it in at the MS site and copy
the image from there.
Also search goggle, many companys have online tutorials and may show the
dialog you need.
