Screen Scrolls Without Control

At random times, and when there is the option for the
screen to scroll through multiple pages or on one page
that is larger than the monitor viewing area, the screen
scrolls up and/or down without control by the user. It
gets stuck in the up or down position and does not budge.

Any thoughts? (it does not seem to be a virus).

i had the same problem with a logitech wirless/optical
mouse. after month of trouble i bought an itellimouse
explorer and the problem was gone. but sometimes the pages
in the ie still jump a little without any reason. this is
only like a small trace of the behavior with the logitech
mouse. i dont think it is a logitech problem only.
