Screen saver

We have several users which change the screen saver, we would like to have
the company default set on all computers.

Is there a way to stop users changing the screen saver or can windows change
it on start-up to a default.

We are running windows xp pro and users have administrators rights.

Your users should not have administrative rights. As long as they have
local administrative rights and you do not have a domain, your users
can do what they want.

You have a domain and your users have domain administrative rights?!!
Whatever for? With a setup like that, you can't do anything securely.

I really don't know what help you expect to get from this newsgroup in
that situation. You need to rethink your domain security setup. Start
with the vast amount of information available at your server OS's
homepage (presumably you are using an MS server operating system) and
review the best practices information. TechNet is also a wonderful
resource.

The reason is so that all computers have the corporate wallpaper and screen
saver.

It would just be nice to stop users changing it rather than requesting that
they do not change it (like they do still).

If you had provided all the information about your network in your
*first* post, we would all be done with this already.

Since you have a domain, set restrictions and permissions on your server
using Group Policy. For questions about Group Policy, post here:

Or hire an outside tech support specialist to set up your server and
workstations properly.

If it's an area were visitors walk through I can understand your logic. If
it not then it's simply IT wasting their time, hate to put it that way but
