Screen Saver Woes

Using WinXP-Media Edition

All of a sudden (don't you hate that?!?!) my screen saver has stopped
activating after the prescribed "wait" time. I haven't changed any of the
settings or the saver selection. It just stopped activating.

Any ideas??

Never mind. Turns out that switching from my wireless mouse to a USB
mouse caused the interrupted screen saver. All is now well.
