screen saver tab missing

My Display properties dialog box does not show the screensaver tab
anymore,what has gone wrong? I am using windows XP pro

That displayed the screensaver tab ... but the options on the
screensaver window are greyed out (Screen Saver, Settings and Preview).
I can't select a screensaver.

Any ideas???

I had this occur when I got that stupid "CNN Alert" virus (antivirxp08).
Sure my Norton caught and cleared it, but afterwards the tab was gone. Your
fix did it, thank you very much.

Bless you! That did the trick. Used it to restore my desktop tab, too. Both
tabs were wrecked by a rogue virus.
