Screen Saver & SP3 problem

Since installing SP3, my screen saver is gone. Whenever I bring the computer
out of the sleep mode, it automatically shows the desktop. Any help will be
appreciated. I'm 67 and self taught on the computer, so, please go easy on
me with terminology. Thanks

If it's the screensaver that's gone, have you checked to see if it's still
showing in Display Properties?

Find a clear space on your screen, right click it, select 'Properties' from
the drop-down menu, then 'Screen Saver'. See if it's there in the drop-down
choice of screen savers.

I tried what you said to do and got an error message screen stating "the file
?!@#$%% is not a valid theme"

Now I've discovered it is not the screen saver but it is the screen that
lets you choose which operator's name to choose to log on.
