Screen Saver Settings Won't Hold

I have noticed on many of my Win2K servers that after I
set the screen saver to engage the logon screen after a
set period of time, that setting does not hold. I just
did about 10 servers yesterday, today the settings are
gone, no screen saver enabled, no password, required, etc.

I don't believe that I have any GPO's in AD that are
causing this.

Any suggestions?

This appears to be an old problem inherited from WinNT servers:
that screen savers often won't do what they are supposed to do.
