screen saver off during safe mode

hi,

i like to defrag and do some scans in safe mode

but my screen saver will NOT turn off.

i ran a check with pc pitshop and under improvements it shows
"disable screen saver when defragmentation in process"
Current value "none"

could you please advise what i need to do,

Same answer as in microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize

Ignore it. That advice is for Windows 95/98/Me. Windows 98 was notorious
for complaining about other processes running while a defrag was in process.
XP does not have this problem.

I seem to remember a rather blunt popup message if you had a screensaver
running while defragging in Windows 98.
