Screen Resolution

I am writing for a women in my group that is having
problems with her Screen Resolution, the little arrow will
not budge to go from 640 x ? to 800x 600.
Apparently her screen is so large and she can not see the
X to minimize it..Can you tell me what to tell her.
She has XP home Edition and an e Machine 17 inch Monitor
and an E Machine by Microsoft..
Thanks any help asap will be appreciated

Reload the video drivers. If she is unfamiliar with that process it's
best left to someone who is. Takes only minutes.
1024 X 768 is a good choice for that screen size, once things are in
working order.
