Screen resolution problems

My screen resolution is stuck to 1024 x 768 but only
displays in 8bit so it is very poor quality. I have tried
to change it using advice from trouble shooting pages but
nothing seems to change the resolution. Any ideas?
 
Hi,

You need to update or reinstall your display drivers. Best place for this is
the web site of the video card manufacturer, not Windows Udpate.
