screen movement

I just updated my computer from Win95SE to Windows XP
professional. My only problem seems to be mouse/screen
movement. When I click on scroll bar or use my mouse
wheel to move through a screen, the screen moves more
like a wave instead of a brisk movement. I am getting
dizzy watching this kind of movement and want my crisp
fast movement.

I have 256 RAM and a Pentium III 850 speed processor.
What must I do. Anyone know??

Is the monitor you are using as old as windows 95 if so it is time for a new one.
