Screen Lock Problems

Recently my computer had decided to go into a screenlock
mode after about 20 minutes, and requires admin. password
to get back to the desktop. I don't recall anything I
have done to enable this feature, and it is a great
inconveience. What can I do to to stop this?
 
Right click on the desktop .... select Properties from the Screen Saver tab
.... make sure the On resume, password protect box is unchecked.
