Screen Goes Blank When.....

When I click on the McAfee Security Center Icon the screen goes blank for
about 15 to 20 seconds and then reappers just fine. So, I cannot access this
feature.
This happens when:
1) I click on the Desktop Icon (or)......
2) I click on the Task Bar Icon
Does anyone have a suggestion for correcting this problem?

You won't like it... But yes.

Don't use McAfee. In fact don't use a "suite" of any products. Get a decent
antivirus program - there are some free ones. Use a firewall - you can pick
a free one or use the one that came with XP. Grab a copy of an antispyware
application though KAV seems to do a decent job protecting from spyware and
is my personal favorite.

McAfee is bloated, certainly not "best of breed," and is prone to causing
nearly as many issues as Symantec (Norton) products.
