screen freezes

When using windows xp home sometimes my screen will
freeze then go black and come back to life. This seems to
happen more when using word, excel or powerpoint.

Anyone know how to fix this??

It could be the cause for many reasons. First, How much
RAM do you have? At least 256mb is needed to run XP and
your programs properly. Next, clean up your harddrive:
1. Delete cookies
2. Delete on and offline Temporary Internet files.
3. Run Disk Cleanup (Accessories/System tools)
4. Defrag your harddrive
5. Download Spybot or Ad-aware and run it.
In addition, hope you have a good anti-virus program
installed and running.
