screen freeze

can you help. when i am playing back my storyboard or time line my whole
screen freezes. i can move the cursor but no click on anything. therefore i
can not close or save the window. you can hear the audio of the movie playing
after the freeze screen occures. why is this and what can i do to stop it
from happening?

that's a symptom of trying to use MPEG-2 files that won't work.... see the
Import Movie Source Files > Video > MPEG-2 page of my website.
