Hi
Need a small prog to capture all or part of screen
mostly text only

You don't like Windows?

Print Scr = full
Alt + Print Scr = active window

It makes no difference if what you are capturing is a picture of text,
it is still a picture.

I could not find anything better than a prog I used on my old computer
Its called Infoclip. I dont think its available any more, I googled
but got nothing.

The little prog copies highlighted parts of the screen, (text) and
stores in its own prog, each save is attached at the bottom, it does
not overwrite.

The saved text can be edited, saved to another file, printed or wiped
Did not expect it to work with XP but it works great

Thank you for all the suggestions, if I want to save anything other
than text will have to find another prog then.

IrfanView works pretty good with screen capture. You can always crop
it after that.

Yes not bad but I use Handysnap, the last freeware version 0.5 beta.
More elegant and can annotate b4 saving.

In IV, how to annotate?
