Hi Everyone

I have just re-formated my computer, when i re-installed my games the sound was all scratchy/crackling, I have never had this before and i have re-formatted before.
My sound cards are:
Legacy Audio Drivers and a AC-Link 3d Games Enhanced Audio (Conexant Systems)
I am on Windows XP home edition I have tried going to the Manufactuerers websites but no joy.
Can anyone help me?
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanx

Kev

You can run dxdiag, click start>run>"dxdiag", click on the sound tab, set
the sound acceleration down a bit and see if that helps. If it does, its
problaby a driver problem. I'd search the web for drivers, if this card is
no longer supported, I'd suggest getting a new one.
