Scrap files

Are scrap files bad? Another user some how created some,
but the excel spreadsheet still opens and performs
correctly. Can I correct the scrap files and save it as
an Excel file? Any advice?

Thats what I said. It is on Microsoft's Knowledge Base

Article - 138275. It is sometimes created by dragging
files. Another user actually created it and I am not
sure if I should fix it or leave it alone.

A scrap is a file that is created when you drag part of a document to the

Scrap files are neither intrinsically good nor bad, they are mererly
document snippets. Like any other document, retain it if is, or may become
useful and delete it if it is of no conceivable value.
