Scrambled File Order

In my subdirectories, all of the logical file sequences
have become scrambled. They are in total random order.
After I installed the Service Pack I, the problem cleared
up and the files were in logical order once again. But
now, after a few months, the problem has re-occured.

If a few files are out of order, no problem. But I work
with directories with hundreds of files. And with all of
them scrambled into random order, it's really quite
inefficient hunting them down.

Can someone solve this problem of why my files have
suddenly become listed in random order?

Thanks,

Gregory

Have you tried clicking on a column header to sort them?

You can also right-click in the file display pane and
choose "Refresh" to order them.
