scr error

Not sure if this is right group or not but when I receive(via Emails)
certain images (a cartoon attachment from one person for example) I get the
I.E. script error box which asks me to continue running scripts, "yes,no"
options. N matter which one I select, box stays open.

I use Out Exp. 6.0. I.E. 6.0 and Firefox at times.

I went to I.E. 6.0 and tools/Internet options/advanced and deselected
Disable script debuggings I.E. and 2nd one "Other" . With no luck, I then
went back with both selected.

Any thoughts on ridding this annoyance?

I use WIN XP Serv P2.

tks all

Bill,

You have CHECK one of the settings and UNCHECK two of the settings.

Open Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab |

CHECK: Disable script debugging (internet Explorer)

CHECK: Disable Script Debugging (Other)

UNCHECK: Display a notification about every script error

Click Apply | Click OK

Disable script debugging (internet Explorer) means...
Specifies whether you want to turn off your script debugger, if one is
installed. Script debuggers are used by Web site developers to test programs
and scripts on their Web pages.

Display a notification about every script error means...
Specifies whether to display the actual script errors when a page does not
appear properly due to problems with its scripting. This feature is off by
default, but is useful to developers when testing Web pages.

I have no idea what Disable Script Debugging (Other) means, I do not have
SP2.
