I got up and 5:15 in the morning thinking I was going to do homework. I end
up do tech stuff. I put in my CD which includes my History textbook. It is
called StudentWorks Plus. When it loads, it sends me a dialog box saying
Shockwave 8.5 is required to run this application. So I install it. I try
again. It says the very same thing. Help

P.S. Could it have been the wrong version of Shockwave?

This question can best be addressed on the StudentWorks
website. But when you load Shockwave, did you reboot before
try the CD again? Does the CD install or does it run from
the CD? Does your school have any "tech" help?

Black or Golden? Do you take it hunting or is it strictly a
house pet?

A good site to get shockwave is download.com and type shockwave 8.5 in the
search. Not sure if shockwave has an update option allowing you to get the
latest version. In shockwave there should be a help>about. This should tell
you what version you have.

Hope this helps

Check with your school's IT person or tech support for StudentWorks
Plus.
