Well, that gave me the ability to run the scan of my choice from the command prompt, but how does that help me schedule multiple scan types?

B Bill Sanderson Mar 1, 2006 #4 Create batch files with different parameters--you can choose signature updates, quickscans, or fullscans. Then use the Windows Scheduler--start, control panel, maintenance, scheduled tasks--and schedule the scans according to whatever pattern you'd like. This won't be reflected in the Windows Defender UI, but it will work. --
