Scheduling McAfee update

I want the the AV to update every day at a certain time, and if it can't
e.g. for lack of access to the net, or if the laptop is powere down, then
to do so at the first opportunity. I thought the "Run missed task" switch
would do this, but it doesn't seem to. Is there a way? Thnx.

Version 7 - Retail or Enterprise ?

If it is Enterprise v7.0 it was superceded by v7.1 but work properly as long as you supply
the scheduler with an Administrative account and password.
