scheduler problems

I have installed this on a computer which is turned off
outside office hours, so I reset the scan and update
schedules to times during the day.
The automatic update does not appear to be happening.
The automatic scan keeps resetting to 1 am however many
times I change it. Having changed it again this morning so
that the box reads 10am the information above states that
it is set to run at 112.00am.

Having accidentally left the computer on all night the
other day the scan did run automatically at 1 am as it
should, but has never otherwise run by itself.

To set a schedule in MSAS:

1. Close MSAS
2. In control panel "Regional and Language Options", button "Customize", tab
"Time", configure a 12-hour AM/PM time format.
3. Open MSAS, configure your desired schedule in 12-hour AM/PM format, click
"Save", close MSAS.
4. In control panel "Regional and Language Options", button "Customize", tab
"Time", re-configure your preferred 24-hour time format.

Then your scheduled event should occur at your desired time, even if the
displayed time in MSAS looks wrong.

I'm not sure what is going on in your case. In my experience, a scan
scheduled for 10 AM should read 112:00 am, but should actually take place at
10 am as scheduled.

I've experienced, and seen numerous other reports, situations in which
multiple scans are scheduled, unintentionally.

Robin Walker's advice is correct for setting a time in the afternoon, but
morning times should be working as far as I know--but I'll admit to not
having tested carefully with the current build.

I can confirm that my settings use the 12-hour format,
but the scheduler will not let me set (and save) any PM
times at all. MSAS is version 1.0.615 in case it matters,
defs are from today. Whatever time I set is saved as an
AM time instead of PM. (I'm primarily trying to go with
5:30 pm.)

Hello TomR,

Go to start/Control Panel/Country settings
Change Language to US Inglisch.
Click on Apply
Open MSA change all your time settings the way you wont.
Click on "Update Schedule"
Then go back to set your default Language.
MSA will scan and update on the right time!
Don't Click "Update Schedule", anymore!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone
It is now working fine, without having to change my
date/time settings.
I don't really understand why it would work after the
third or fourth time saving the same information. The
update is not happening automatically so I will change
that to the morning too.

Don't really want to have to change to US English, as I am
in UK and all the dates will confuse me terribly.

FWIW, you only need to change to a 12-hour clock for long enough to make the
schedule setting. You can then switch back, and the schedule, although
still appearing wrong, should happen at the correct afternoon time.
