Hi ,

I created a jobs in Windows 2000 Scheduler , I login as domain user to
create it.
I do set the correct password in the scheduler. But the next day the
scheduler failed to run. Means everyday I need to set the password
again.Below is the error message I get from the log files.
Please help ...

"Copy DTS Log.job" (Copy DTS Log.bat) 6/26/2005 3:00:00 AM ** ERROR ** The
attempt to log on to the account associated with the task failed, therefore,
the task did not run.
The specific error is:
0x80070569: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested
logon type at this computer.
Verify that the task's Run-as name and password are valid and try again."

If the job connects to another machine you may need to add the user/ group
'logon as batch job' rights (server side). Control Panel|Admin Tools|Local
Security Policy\Local Policies\User Rights Assignments
"Log on as a batch job"

Remember that if it involves network resources to make sure the user account
has permissions to the resources and also use UNC paths as mapped drives
won't exist when no one is logged on.

Hi Dave ,

Thanks for your info. The log on as batch files I already try before. It
doesn't work. I have also no idea about it why the password keep on reset on
the next day ?
Any other setting I should go for it ? Very appreciate if you can provide
the solution. I have been struggling quite some time on it ...

Thanks.
