Sechedule Task gives error : Could Not Logon

Jose Guay

Hi all, Something courious is happening with one of my
servers, I have a task schedule to run at 11pm every day
but for some reason, it runs fine the first time, when I
create the task, but from the second time it gives me an
error saying:

The attempt to log on to the account associated with the
task failed, therefore, the task did not run.
The specific error is:

0x80070569: Logon failure: the user has not been granted
the requested logon type at this computer.

Verify that the task's Run-as name and password are valid
and try again.

The problem is that it runs the firs time and then the
error rises. The user account has the "Log on locally"
right, so I don't know why this is happening.

Can anybody help me with this?

The server has SP4.

Thanks.

Jose

Assuming the complaint was for Logon type 4 This is logon as batch job so
normally it would be; Control Panel|Admin Tools|Local Security Policy\Local
Policies\User Rights Assignments and add the user to "Log on as a batch job"

Thanks Dave. You are right, the account is not in this
group. I'll try it and get back to post the results.

Thanks again.
