Scheduled Tasks

W

William C. Meyer

I have a network set up in my shop with 10 computers running XP, Win2000pro,
and Win98. They all run fine and all programs are running between them. I
have a backup batch file that backs up data between all of these systems
using a batch file. Manually this works fine and always has until I get to
the XP version using scheduled tasks. I cannot use the scheduled task
because it requires a password to run the file across the network.
I do not need a password across this network as file sharing is given
full permissions across it. Is there anyway to create a scheduled task
without the password enabled? Our network is not connected to the outside
world so the security problem that normally would be, is not a problem.

Scheduled Tasks require an account with a non-blank password also Scheduled
Tasks|Advanced|View Log may provide some details.
