Scheduled Tasks issue

I'm trying to use the software with my Hauppage PVR card in order to
schedule recordings. For those unfamiliar, this places a job in Windows
Scheduled Tasks. I haven't been able to get anything to run (including
other programs). Here are the steps I have taken:

-Verified the Scheduled Tasks service was started
-Viewed the logs (no errors listed)
-Using the right Windows account and one that has a password. I even
created a new user with full power and that didn't work.
-Tried getting other programs to work and not just the Hauppage
software.

What is interesting is if I open up a command prompt and paste in the
command line, then the job runs ok. Anything other than that, no go. Am
I missing something? Thanks.

As I remember (I don't have anything scheduled right now) you have to
highlight a particular task, right click, chose Properties and mark a box
with something like: Run when logged in. Without this no task will run.
