Hi Ron,
Running Scheduled Tasks without a password:
For Pro: Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Local Security
Policy/Local Policies/Security options. In the right hand pane (third down).
Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only.
This is enabled by default, disable it.
For Home: Run Scheduled Task without a Password (Line 68)

I have a few scheduled tasks that do not work, such as my antivirus scans,
or any random things. When I check the scheduled task menu it always
states, "The scheduled tasks did not run becayse no user acount password was
entered." But 2 weeks ago I didnt put any passwords or anything and yet it
was working fine. Now it isnt, and I would really like not to have to enter
any password of any sort. By the way I am using Windows XP Pro. Thanks for
the help.
