from your "my pictures" folder in windows explorer, if you click on the menu
option "folders" you should have a list of options on the left side, one (on
the top) "Get pictures for scanner or camera" If you click that option, does
it start the wizard? If it does, as you click "next" through the dialog
boxes, selecting your device and options, you should get a dialog box asking
you what format you want to save the capture in and where you want to put
it. If it's photos from your camera, you may be able to save them only in
the format they were taken in.
