scanner

I want to scan text files on my hp 4 in 1 printer, but I
find any text option. I am only getting photo file options
such as, bmp, tif, jpg, etc.
How to get text file scanned and than i can modify.

You will need to purchase seperate software if your
scanner didn't come with the OCR (Optical Character
Recognition) option.

Other wise all you get are pictures (as you found)

Your scanner will make the scanned page of text a photo
such as a bmp, tif, jpg. After you have the scanned text
photo you need MSoft or a simmler program to convert to a
text document file. -wayne
