I recieved a visioneer One Touch 5800usb scanner as a
gift along w/ the ScanSoft PaperPort Deluxe 7 For Windows
98/ME/2000/MSXP P/N 41-0211-200.I'm not pc literate & am
unable to connect.Any ideas? What am I doing wrong?

That scanner should work with XP. The latest driver is at...

Follow Visioneer's instructions to the letter on how to install and set up
the scanner.
