Scanner Woes

HPscanjet 2300c communicates with printer, will print
blank pages only. When printing from program on computer,
prints fine. Have tested scanner, all okay, have updated
drivers, uninstalled hardware/software, still nothing!!
Any suggestions?
 
Are you using USB connection for both the scanner and
printer or using a daisy-chain on a parallel cable?
XP does not support the daisy-chain.
