Scanner - Which to Choose?

I currently have an Epson Perfection 1200U that works very well, but
from the Epson website, they indicate that it is not supported under
Windows Vista. So, if I'm upgrading to Vista, I will need to replace
my scanner.

I mainly use the scanner to scan photos to .jpg and documents for
sharing. What would be a good scanner to get for ease of use and
image quality for those functions?

Any input appreciated.

Before tossing a perfectly good scanner see if Vuescan or Silverfast
will support it under Vista.

I would bet that your scanner will work just fine under Vista. It might
not be specifically supported by Vista, but it will likely work with the
various software packages that it works with now. (Photosshop, Vuescan,
etc.).

Is Vista an upgrade? Really?
