Scanner Problem

My other computer had Win-95. I bought a new HP Pavilion 746x about 6
months ago and it has XP-Home. My problem is the "Scanner Wizard" When
it comes up, it will only look at the object to be scanned as a type of
picture, even if it is all text and there is no way that I know of to
change it to scanning a text file, there just isn't any way that I can
find to change it like I could with Win-95.

Dave, unless you can get a WinXP driver for your Scanner from the
manufacturer your stuck with the Scanner Wizard.
