application and also i'want to check whether scanner is
connected or not..

What's "scan.ocx"? Does the manufacturer provide a documentation/support?

Hi Wagner

While Searching Previous projects in my office only i found Scanner
connection code but it is not working.
In this project they had used Scan.ocx component
When we inculde this one in our project through ad reference it
producing AXscanlibCtl and AxTwain,InteropTwain.
And it is having the properties and methodslike
scanneravailable,showsacnnersetup , scanpage(..),scanto(..).

And when am using these methods am getting exception like

Invalid ActivexState Exception (can not invoke method scanneravailable
at this time)

Plz help me

Not sure if you have sorted this one or not. If the scanner uses a TWAIN
interface, then take a look at the excellent Vintasoft TWAIN ActiveX
control:-

Works very well and the licensed version is a very good price. I have used
Twainpro in the past and the Vintsoft control is easier to use and more
comprehensive.
