Snaggy

I need a program to automatically process lots of scanned images
(contrast and I don't know what...) like scanpreppro (I think, i
haven't tried it) that unfortunatly works only under mac.

I scan books and documents and handwritten texts

Look up lasersoft. The software is designed for batch processing.
Their tech support can also help you evaluate the suitability
for your purpose. It is expensive and the price depends upon the
scanner model, but if you do a lot of scanning it will pay in time
saved.
