Why is it,when someone says 'Scandisk'. Some moron
comes back with..'XP don't have Scandisk anymo''. We all
know what is ment..old habits are hard to break.

Old habits may be hard to break, but in this case, they need to
be broken. You can sit there following your old habits and typing
"scandisk" as often as you want, but it still won't work.

Like it or not, it's true that there is no scandisk, and someone
who wants to run the XP equivalent needs to know that it's called
chkdsk, not scandisk.
 
You say 'we all know what is meant is entirely false. There are more 'newbies'
in the computer world than ever before. And if they typed in scandisk guess
what happens? Get down to reality.
