Scandisk Question for Windows XP

Dave

I know in previous versions of windows when you run a
scandisk on the HD there is a report of the scan
afterwards, in XP I noticed that there is none unless the
scandisk reschedules to run after a reboot. Any qay to
get a report when it scans while in windows? Thanks.

Open Control Panel, open Event Viewer, select Application, go to View,
select Find, next to Event Source, select Winlogon from the dropdown list,
click find, double click the item in the list.

WinXP does not use scandisk, it uses chkdsk.
