Scandisk Issues

I open My Computer and select a drive to scan. When I click "File" to get to
properties, the srceen goes dark, and then my desktop reapears with the tray
empty, except for my virus and sound icons. Anyone else have this kind of
problem? I can't get a right click menu in the My computer window.

If you have sp2 , and special drivers cards ect for
display, you might have to download updates for sp2.
Otherwise I would run error checking. Need help for that,
open help and support and search "error checking"
You didn't mention spyware scan or virus scans. You have
virus icon, use that. If you need spyware

so you can restore fixes. You'll also need to remove
