scandisk diappeared

Tried to run scandisk and it is not there. under system
tools the utility is gone. i did a search and can not
find it. how do you restore it?

Windows XP has a "Checkdisk" error-checking utility that replaced
the old "Scandisk" utility in previous versions of Windows.
